new to the group / Franklin Castle

Hey everyone, I'm sort of new to the group so I wanted to say hi.  I haven't done too much exploring in the Cleveland/Akron area yet, but I thought some of you might be interested to see where I went a few weeks ago.  A friend of mine is currently renovating the Franklin Castle, so I didn't have to break in, but this place is still vacant and hasn't been lived in for years.  My camera's batteries died when I was on the first floor, but I'll be back there in a week or two to take more pics.  Here's a link to the rest of my pics.

Hey you, Wellcome to my Community!
Wow. I really need to hang out more with you guys.
Thanks. I've been a member for a few months now, but this is my first post. I'll post more pics in a couple of weeks after I go back.
where exactly is the franklin castle?
It's on Franklin in Ohio City. Check out this link for more info about the castle and what it's going to be starting in June: http://www.franklincastleclub.com
Wow, it's great to see some pictures from the inside! Thank the owner for letting us see the inside of the castle this way for us. I hope the renovation keeps going well for your friend~
There's still A LOT of work that needs to be done so it can open next June, but I'll post progress pics.
I've been wanting to go in there for more than a decade. is there any way you could get another tour going?
If you own a hearse, you'd get to go there all of the time. ;) My friend who is restoring it is into old funeral vehicles and he invites us to bring our cars over there to hang out.

The other way to get in is through Haunted Cleveland Tours. They do bus tours on the weekends of lots of haunted Cleveland landmarks. One of the ones on the tour this year is the Franklin Castle. You get a 20 minute tour of the castle and dinner in the carriage house. The tour goes through some really awesome other places too. It's $50 for the night. Make sure you do with the real Haunted Cleveland Tours (there's two companies in Cleveland with that name now). The one run by Psychic Sonya doesn't go into the castle or the castle grounds, the just look at it from the sidewalk. To actually go in the castle, you need to go on the real Haunted Cleveland tour.
do either tours have websites?
Both do. Here's the place that isn't allowed in the castle: http://www.hauntedclevelandtours.com/

and here's the good one that allows you to go inside the castle: http://www.hauntedcleveland.net/
